November Dreaming

It's been a rough couple of months for lucid dreaming. Usually, with the less hours of sunlight, and more hours of darkness (in the bedroom), one would think I would be lucid dreaming up a storm. But, as I physically age, I have issues with sleeping. ...and why can't I sleep? Many reasons. Also, I'm having a difficult time relaxing for the WILD way of lucid dreaming, so I'm kind of 0/2. And, I can't dream unless I'm asleep. So...I'll get to writing a bit more when I have time.

Intro To Lucid Dreaming Dialogues

Here are discussions I have had in Lucid Dreaming sessions, roughly 20 years ago. At times I get lectured, at times it is more open, like question and answer. I will post them as I unravel them from Dreaming.

I do not know who these people are, and yes, I am assuming they are human. They have never shown any inorganic being traits, and yes, I am familiar with those traits. I have never asked who they are, but they are a group, or party of warriors. What is a warrior? One who is, or has, impeccable behavior and is working on, or has reached, the totality of self. This post is based on Carlos Castaneda syntax, so if you are unfamiliar with his work, go read it. 

I first met one person in Dreaming and he introduced me to five others. For the last couple of years I have referred to them as, ‘the party of six.’ A month or so ago, this party of six then introduced me to their complete party. I say it is possible that this is a warrior party or a Nagual party since there are sixteen members.

I have also been asked if this is don Juan’s party.

I do not know. I have never asked.

A couple things here on this topic of ‘don Juan’s party.’

First, I am of the impression that ‘Juan’ was a name for Carlos to use, and he changed his name even for the witches in their written and published books. So, even if I were to ask, which I am not interested in doing, btw, I am only interested in their teachings, I am sure the ‘Nagual party name’ would be different.

The characters I meet in Dreaming are very similar to what Castaneda describes in his works. I am working with several male individuals; a Master of Awareness, like don Genero, and a Master of Intent, don Silvio. I have met a couple of the women in this party, yet cannot explain our conversations as they are still stuck deep within me. As with Castaneda and don Juan, these lucid dreaming conversations were conducted in Spanish. A friend of mine assisted in translating, so this may be a reason the conversations are not as clear as they should be. 

Please keep in mind that I jump around here in my writing. These are not complete discussions, only what I can remember at this time and have managed to transcribe from lucid dreams. If I remember more, I will update what I have written. In this same related thought, I will do my best to preface my Lucid Dreaming comments and the others Dreaming comments with a bit of dialogue to try and explain what we are discussing. Most discussion should be self-explanatory though...

Of course I am immersed in Castaneda’s teachings; so much of what I ask is based on what Castaneda and don Juan talk about in Castaneda’s work. These folks in Lucid Dreaming tend to speak to me in a way that I will understand, thus, the conversations are tapered to my current perception, awareness, and knowledge base.

Please feel free to question what is written and I will do my best to answer. Free dialogue and discussion are encouraged as well on this Warrior of Dreams blog.

The WILD Way to Lucid Dreaming

Brian has done a fantastic job in describing what the 'WILD way' is, and does a high quality, in-depth comparison of how the WILD way, or method, compares to the DILD method of attempting to lucid dream.
